The Deutsche Rheuma-Forschungszentrum Berlin (DRFZ) is actively involved in regional, national and international Research Networks.
Scientists of the DRFZ participate in various Collaborative Research Centers of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation), in priority programs of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and in several European Research Networks. Numerous co operations are the prerequisite for successful networks.
The interdisciplinary research in various scientific fields such as experimental rheumatology, molecular biology, cell biology and many other scientific fields allow for dealing with complex problems in the field of basic research.
In workshops, symposia and lecture series the exchange of information takes place and different approaches can be discussed.
