{"id":13691,"date":"2023-07-11T15:09:00","date_gmt":"2023-07-11T15:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.drfz.de\/neuigkeiten\/stadtradeln-fuers-klima\/"},"modified":"2025-03-10T15:11:05","modified_gmt":"2025-03-10T15:11:05","slug":"stadtradeln-fuers-klima","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.drfz.de\/en\/neuigkeiten\/stadtradeln-fuers-klima\/","title":{"rendered":"The DRFZ and the city cycling event"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the city cycling event this year, 19 DRFZ colleagues cycled to work and through Berlin (and the surrounding areas) for 21 days to collectively pull together their kilometres cycled by the team and to avoid CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together, the DRFZ colleagues cycled an impressive 5130 km, an average of 256.5 km per person. That is 25 km more than the Berlin average, which was 230 km\/person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The DRFZ team were registered as a sub-team of the Charit\u00e9 and ended up in ninth place out of 67 teams from the entire Charit\u00e9.
