Mass cytometry assistant (m/f/div)
Who we are
Our lab at the Deutsches Rheuma-Forschungszentrum Berlin (DRFZ), a Leibniz-Institute, is interested in immune profiling of chronic inflammatory diseases and investigates B cell differentiation and plasma cell homeostasis. The lab maintains the DRFZ CyTOF mass cytometry core facility, and provides measurements and expertise to internal and external collaborators.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated and responsible person with a background and higher degree (university or Fachhochschule) in life sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry or chemistry. You will first assist and then independently perform research and development tasks at the DRFZ Mass Cytometry Lab. This includes the maintenance of the mass cytometer, the design of antibody panels, performing antibody conjugations, assay and reagent development and optimization, mass cytometry assays and data acquisitions, and data analysis. Basic knowledge in immunology and cytometry will be appreciated.
The DRFZ is an equal opportunity employer, and strongly encourages applications from all members of under-represented groups. Individuals with disabilities will be given priority, if qualified accordingly.
Please send your application with CV and certificates by e-mail to Dr. Henrik Mei, email@example.com.
