DRFZ receives Total E-Quality Award 2025-2027

Award for commitment to gender equality and diversity
Equal opportunities are not just a principle at the DRFZ – they are part of everyday life. On July 8, 2025, the DRFZ was awarded the Total E-Quality award for the fourth time. With this award, the Total E-Quality e. V. association recognizes our continuous commitment to gender equality, diversity and family-friendly working conditions in research.

At first glance, it may seem like just another certificate – but it’s not. It stands for our shared commitment, our teamwork and our resilience.
What characterizes us:
- Consistent implementation of gender-equitable language on the website and in communication
- Female scientists are represented at almost all levels of the institute with over 50
- Consideration of all genders in clinical studies and gender-specific data in healthcare research
- Family-friendly measures such as online seminars and respecting vacation periods

These and other measures are firmly anchored in the updated Gender Equality Plan 2025. It forms the basis for an equal opportunities, supportive and future-oriented working environment for all DRFZ employees.
