5th IIMVF: Educating the immune system: good and bad memory

This joint Symposium of the Chiba University, the University of Tokyo, the Leibniz ScienceCampus Chronic Inflammation and the Deutsches Rheuma-Forschungszentrum Berlin provides an international platform for leading immunologists and young scientists for intense discussion of this controversial field, probing old paradigms and presenting new discoveries.
The program includes a Keynote Lecture given by Tanja Lange and six Symposia covering the topics

  1. Memory maintenance: Resident or on the move, resting or active?
  2. Education towards tolerance and memory
  3. Immune memory and vaccine against SARS-CoV-2
  4. Education of immune system by microbiota
  5. Evading pathogen
  6. Bad memories

About the IIMVF
The IIMVF was launched in 2012 by the Graduate School of Medicine, Chiba University, Japan. Since then, the symposium is taking place alternately in Japan (2013), La Jolla, USA (2014 and 2019, co-organized by the University of California San Diego Immunology Initiative) and Berlin (2015 and 2021, co-organized by the DRFZ).
