Research awards for innovative science

Various professional associations and patient organisations regularly offer prizes for research work. We would like to highlight a few of them here. After a break, the DRFZ is once again offering its own prize for young researchers: the Avrion Mitchison Prize for understanding and treating rheumatic diseases.

Avrion Mitchison Prize for understanding and treating rheumatic diseases

Application deadline: 30 June 2026
In honour of its founding director (1928–2022), the DRFZ will award the Avrion Mitchison Prize in 2026 to young scientists who have made a significant contribution to the field of rheumatology.
