From concept to application
Technology transfer enables companies and external partners to access innovations and findings developed at the DRFZ. Our expertise lies in identifying new therapeutic targets, diagnostic methods and biomarkers for diagnosis, treatment response and disease progression. We utilise state-of-the-art technologies, which are constantly being further developed. To ensure these processes are effective and to bridge the gap between research and application, the DRFZ collaborates with large clinical partners including Charité, as well as with partners from the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Beyond that, we can refer to a large network of other research institutes within the Leibniz Association.
Externally, the DRFZ also cooperates with Ascenion GmbH, a knowledge and technology transfer company specialising in the life sciences, to commercialise its intellectual property.
