Global food systems are critical to human and planetary health. A rapid transformation of the food system is needed to supply the global population continuously with a healthy diet, while at the same time preserving livelihoods. This change requires interdisciplinary solutions that take climate change and societal changes into account.

The Leibniz research network “Green Nutrition – Healthy Society” brings together expertise in areas such as health, biodiversity, the environment and sustainable development. The aim of the network is scientific exchange, identification of research needs, interdisciplinary cooperation, promotion of young researchers and dialog with political stakeholders.
