Toni Sempert

Toni Sempert is a doctoral researcher in the Schwiete Lab for Microbiota and Inflammation, supervised by Prof. Dr. Hyun-Dong Chang at the German Rheumatology Research Center (DRFZ). His PhD project investigates the intestinal microbiota in patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Toni earned his Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Technische Universität Berlin. Outside the lab, he enjoys exploring nature, cycling on his road bike, or catching a movie at one of the Yorck cinemas.
