The inaugural bio:cap Life Sciences and AI Investival is taking place in the CityCube Berlin from 9-11 June 2026.
bio:cap will bring together leading voices from life sciences, AI, venture capital and policy to accelerate innovation and turn scientific excellence into scalable businesses. The investival will address topics including the growing importance of artificial intelligence in research and drug discovery, personalized medicine and modern diagnostics, regulatory frameworks for innovation, and new models for financing and commercializing biotech companies. Participants can expect high-level discussions, curated matchmaking, exclusive side events across Berlin and a distinctive investival format connecting science, capital and innovation.
Prof. Dr. Eicke Latz (DRFZ and Charité) is on the steering committee of the investival (Invest Festival), which is being organised by Charité‑Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Berlin Institute of Health, Hasso Plattner Institute, and hosted by Messe Berlin.
